Here’s a great tip for any vacation rental business looking to build their brand, get to know their clients better, and have fun all at the same time. In this example, we did it to encourage progressive VR professionals to join our Inner Circle community.
Step 1: Rent out a really cool place in town for the evening and get it catered with some delicious food and drinks. In this example, the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO).
Step 2: Invite a group of people who mean a lot to your business in one way or another. They could be former guests, potential property owners, angry neighbors, local business owners, competitors, government officials…etc. In this case, Inner Circle members.
Step 3: Hire a great videographer to document the event and ask a few people to jump on camera and share some heartfelt words. (If you don’t know a videographer, post an ad on Craigslist )
Step 4: Have some kind of structured conversation about the role vacation rentals in our respective lives. *Bonus points if you have this conversation transcribed.
Step 5: Then share the video with everyone who attended and post it on your website and social media accounts. Here’s another great example if you need ideas.
